This project was created for the Neustadt Lit Festival poster, where the goal was to design a poster highlighting the winner of the Neustadt International Prize for Literature. To begin the design process, we first had to research the winner in order to better understand their background, writing style and contributions to literature. This research informed the poster’s visual direction and ensured the design reflected the author’s identity and work. By studying the winner’s achievements, publications, and influence, we were able to make thoughtful design choices that connected the visuals of the poster with the spirit of their literature and the purpose of the festival.
